Rock, Paper, SZA
Solána Imani Rowe, also known as SZA is one of the most popular female R&B artists today. She is known for her hit songs, "Snooze" and "Kill Bill." Recently, she took home a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album. The musician has done collaborations with other popular artists such as Rihanna, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. SZA primarily grew up in the suburb of Maplewood, New Jersey and eventually moved to New York where she attended college. These locations heavily influenced her personal style in which she calls, "deep Brooklyn normcore."
SZA's Style
Sza's everyday outfits typically incorporate elevated streetwear styles. A staple in her closet is an oversized jacket. She tends to love her varsity and leather jackets as shown above. The photo on the left is from a brunch she went to for NYFW with Tommy Hilfiger. Her jacket was custom-made just for her and the jacket on the right is a vintage piece. Tommy Hilfiger leather jackets can range from $300-$1000 and vintage varsity jackets can also be quite pricey so here are some similar options that won't break the bank (Pinterest).
Ebay has some great options that resemble SZA's jackets. The first all-leather one is $129 and the second option is only $29.
Her Stage Style

A common trend seen throughout Sza's style is her ability to layer and mix many colors. Her top is the Juliet Johnstone Blue Mesh Tank, which is $55.38 and her skirt is from Melissa Knits which is about $100.
Her clothes are on the pricey side so these are some cheaper suggestions. They aren't the exact same, but overall match the aesthetic of her style. The blue mesh top is from Emmiol and is $13. The knit layered skirt is from The Ragged Priest and is $57.27 (Vogue).
